1. How are classes determined? What if my child has a FALL birthday?
We use August 31, 2026, as our age cutoff date to determine classroom placement for the school year. Children are placed based on their age as of that date, not on how old they will be shortly after the school year begins.
For example, if a child is 3 years old on August 31, 2026, they will be placed in a 3-year-old class, even if they turn 4 in September.
We understand it can feel confusing when a birthday is close to the cutoff, especially if your child is developing quickly. However, our experience shows that placement based on age at the cutoff yields the best overall social, emotional, and academic success. Preschool growth is not just about academic ability; it also includes independence, confidence, peer relationships, attention span, and emotional readiness. Our years of experience show that children thrive best when placed with peers in the same age range and developmental stage.
Following our cutoff policy helps ensure children feel confident, capable, and successful throughout the year.
Class placement exceptions are not typically granted, as consistency is important for all students.
2. My child will be 3 as of August 31, 2026, but they are not fully potty-trained. Can they be in a 2.5 Potty Training Class?
No, they cannot. Your child will need to be potty-trained and enrolled in a 3-year-old class. Please review the definition to ensure your child is ready and to better understand our policy.

PMO: 9 months-29 months (2 years 5 months) 3 Hour Class
2.5 (Potty Training in Progress): 30 months-35 months (3 and older must be in a 3's class) 3 Hour Class
3-Year-Old Class: 3 Hour Class (must be fully potty trained)
4's Class: May be 4 or 5 years old to attend. 3 Hour Class (must be fully potty trained)
Kinder Prep Class: May be 4 or 5 years old to attend. 4 Hour Class (must be fully potty trained)
3. The Director will review your application.
4. Your Registration Fee must be submitted with your enrollment forms.
5. All Registration Fees must be paid within 7 days of enrollment. Registration Fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
6. Once your fee has been paid, your child is fully enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year.
7. In August, you will receive a message through Brightwheel with your child's teacher information and a date and time for our Meet The Teacher the week before school starts.

(Click the box with the class you would like for your child and it will take you to our enrollment forms) If this class shows as Full, please select the waitlist to add your child to our waiting list for the 2026-2027 school year. Waitlists are timestamped, and people are called as space becomes available. We enroll all year.
