What we believe as United Methodists
Still Wesleyan

John Wesley accidently created a new denomination in his efforts to revitalize and impart a practical holiness to the Church of England. Amost two and a half centuries later his influence persists, as we use reason, tradition, and experience to understand the biblical text speaking into our lives as followers of Jesus today.

From our origins with Wesley to today, the United Methodist Church has held love and mercy as the attributes that most define God. The life, death, and resurrection of God's Son in the person of Jesus Christ serve as proof. It is our mission as followers of Jesus to bring this word of hope to the broken and painful places we see in our community and our world.
