Ever wanted to "skip" church on Sunday? Now's your chance! We are headed out into the community on Sunday, September 26, 2010 to be in service with others, to carry the love of Jesus and be the hands and feet of God in Jacksonville!!
Projects we are working on so far will be projects for the Senior Center, pumping gas, visiting nursing homes, preparing lunch for area firemen, Parks & Recreation project, etc... There will be something for all ages to do!
How can you be involved?
1. Pray for this ministry
2. Participate in small groups, Sunday School and bible studies, to learn about service according to God's word.
3. Sign up to lead a project or participate in a project
4. Donate items or money to help make a project successful
5. Skip church on September 26 and head into the community
6. Participate in the celebration supper Sunday night to share where you saw God working.
The Pumpkin Patch is Coming!!!
Sunday, September 19th at 2:00 pm is the Pumpkin Patch Training. We will cover unloading and setup of the patch, sales and marketing, money issues, quality control, Wild West Fall Fest, etc. If you have never worked the patch you must attend this training session. If you have worked the patch you are welcome to attend and share your expertise with others.
Saturday, September 25th 1:00 pm we will setup the palettes, Wild West town, barn, etc.. in the patch for pumpkin delivery.
Thursday, September 30th, 5:00 pm the first shipment of pumpkins arrive! (a whole semi-truck load)
The Patch opens Friday, October 1st!!

Sunday 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
