The adult classes use printed materials, some have videos, one uses Faith Link (from United Methodist curriculum resources).
We have a wide variety of classes and many dedicated teachers. Here are the classes for children and youth:
Pre-kindergarten (3-4 years old): Beth Faleris
Kindergarten- 2nd grade: Sheri Slater & Chris Kinnett
3rd grade: Meagan Ross
4-5th grade: Ken Soukup
Middle High: Jesse Faleris & Wanda Conaway
Senior High: Paul and Ann Funk
These classes all use United Methodist curriculum. Children’s classes use the Live Big program. The youth use the Claim the Life series.
Sunday School is something that many say is fading away. However, at Northwoods, the Sunday School is a significant place for fellowship and discussion and, yes, even learning! There is something unique about a church that gathers for education. Sunday School meets from 10-10:45am (between the 9 and 11am services).
